JOB DETAILS:

The University of Wisconsin-Stout has an exciting opportunity for a self-directed, creative coordinator to plan and facilitate all aspects involved in the delivery of webinars, events, and trainings within the Manufacturing Outreach Center (MOC).  

The MOC Program Coordinator works closely and collaboratively with field staff and client audiences to plan, market, and facilitate both in-person and virtual programming for regional manufacturers. This position requires engagement at a variety of levels within the MOC. The ideal candidate will have the ability to execute multiple tasks and programs simultaneously, exercise independent judgement, and be attentive to detail with a customer-centered approach to service.  This position will facilitate the design and development of marketing communications for MOC social media, web pages, email notices, registration site(s), and printed marketing materials.  

The MOC Program Coordinator offers advice and consultation to the Outreach Program Manager and MOC Director to foster effective program content and delivery. This position will provide reports to support program delivery and may participate in regional and national networks on planning and program development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum / Required

  • Experience developing outreach programs 
  • Marketing design and development experience (print and digital)  
  • Digital marketing experience 
  • Experience working in CRM software (Salesforce preferred)  
  • Experience working in registration management software (Cvent preferred)  

Highly Desired/Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field  
  • Ability to communicate and understand the needs of manufacturers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in working with a diverse community  
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work  
  • Ability to work in a team environment

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

The Manufacturing Outreach Center (MOC) is part of the National Institute for Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) and has been a part of the University of Wisconsin-Stout for more than 30 years. The MOC serves Wisconsin regional manufacturers in process improvement, product development, business growth, culture development, and more. Housed in the Office of Corporate Relations and Economic Engagement, we are a vibrant group of skilled problem solvers and action-oriented colleagues working together to help Wisconsin manufacturers succeed.
