Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Operations Specialist will provide overall professional support to achieve optimal work production across the organization, including the creation of planning documents and presentations and developing information to support institutional decision-making. Position requires strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continual operational improvement to ensure successful performance of the department's business across the CNM organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Information Technology Services department for Human Resource activities, meeting space scheduling, travel coordination and coordinates with different departments to achieve optimal work production.
  • Assists in planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business.
  • Processes department expenses and ensures administrative budget activities align with the finance and accounts department.
  • Processes purchase order requests and invoices in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Uses department software to update databases; generate reports from the record keeping system for assigned area.
  • Promotes a smooth delivery of support throughout the CNM organization.
  • Provides recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree
  • CNM Graduates or CNM students about to graduate encouraged to apply.
