About the Opportunity:

Founded in 1922, the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. At the undergraduate level, both the BS in Business Administration and the BS in International Business programs offer students the opportunity to develop into highly motivated business leaders. Graduate students and corporate learners can choose from several different certificate and full-time and part-time MBA and MS programs designed to enable motivated professionals to accelerate their success in business. The school is committed to embedding a global mindset into all of these programs, as well as in its research and outreach activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provides operation oversight of the Graduation Career Center
• Provides outstanding customer service to all visitors to the Graduate Career Center, including students, employers, faculty, staff
• Provides outstanding customer service to and collaboration with employers seeking to hire D'Amore-McKim graduate business students and alumni by monitoring job postings, providing resume books, following up on resume books sent, addressing employer questions and seeking to identify solutions to employer needs. Works with employers to identify appropriate recruiting activities to meet their needs.
• Provides oversight of the Global Talent System (Grad Leaders CRM). This includes daily updates, posting networking and career education events, ensuring compliance with system updates and upgrades, providing training for staff and students, updating student rosters each semester, serving as staff contact for GTS
• Coordinates student interviews with employers, manages in-house employer database and in-house campus interview scheduling system, job postings, maintains historical archives of employer activity and implements recruiting marketing initiatives with employers.
• Maintains data integrity of employer database; analyzes data to prepare periodic reports. Prepares and maintains appropriate distribution lists in the system to support event promotion.
• Collects, analyzes and reports placement data for annual rankings surveys.
• Oversees communication of the Graduate Career Center which includes managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram), publishes newsletters for students and employers, and ensures timely and effective communication to students; provides updates to the GCC webpages
• Assists with launch of a robust virtual and in-person events calendar
• Manages team of work-study students.

Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate a strong customer focus, project management and problem-solving skills; the ability to work well with many constituencies; the ability to independently oversee multiple tasks with attention to detail; a motivated/enthusiastic work style; and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of internal and external constituents. Successful candidates will have strong technical skills, written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with web-based software, Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word), and online resources are required. Bachelors degree with 3-5 years relevant experience required. Masters preferred.
