Job Summary: The OLLI Program Manager oversees all aspects of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at The University of Alabama that offers members intellectual and cultural experiences in a stimulating environment for maturing adults. Manages finances, speakers, logistics, registrations, events, and fundraising. Mentors, coaches, and trains direct and indirect staff reports.


Additional Department Summary: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI or the Institute) at The University of Alabama offers members intellectual and cultural experiences in a stimulating environment for maturing adults. OLLI provides non-credit, non-degree-granting programs, as well as special cultural and social events, and encourages active participation by members in a voluntary capacity. OLLI is an important program that UA offers to community members.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience; OR Master's degree and two (2) years of experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience with an OLLI program or similar community engagement program.
