Job Overview

Nursing Education Partnerships Manager will lead the partnership efforts to create new and sustain existing educational and health organization partnerships. As a member of a team in which students are placed at the center of all that we do, the Nursing Education Partnerships Manager will serve as a liaison between the UC College of Nursing and educational institutions and health organizations to identify educational pathways for students and employees to pursue their next degree or educational experience in their nursing career.

 

Nursing Education Partnerships Manager will work in tandem with the Program Directors, and the Marketing team to develop and implement a strategy to meet the educational needs of our partners by creating innovative nursing education opportunities. They are responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of partnership efforts for our on-campus and online programs, focusing on meeting the needs of nurses and their health organization.


Essential Functions
  • In collaboration with the UC College of Nursing Program Directors, serve as the primary contact/liaison for advancing recruitment and entry into the College of Nursing programs from existing partner health organizations and academic institutions.
  • Establish new and maintain existing partnerships between the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing and healthcare organizations and facilitate collaborative initiatives that identify and meet the needs of the healthcare organization workforce.
  • Regularly conduct recruitment presentations for health organization facilities and academic institutions.
  • Provide reports and updates regarding opportunities for program growth and health organization and academic institution partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with College of Nursing and UC Online recruitment and admission teams to facilitate enrollment into Nursing programs.

Required Education

Master's Degree


Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience working within a health care organization
  • Experience in a higher education

Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Master of Science in Nursing; will consider candidate who is enrolled in a Master’s program
  • Familiarity with Clinical Ladder Advancement program used in healthcare organizations
  • Experience working as a staff nurse
  • Knowledge of higher education student recruitment, orientation, transition, retention, and success
  • Previous experience as a nurse educator
