Required License/Registration/Certification
Registered Nurse (RN) and must advance on UKHC Nursing Professional Advancement (NPA) within 6 months of hire and annual resubmission required throughout employment in this job title.
Physical Requirements
The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Job Summary
The DanceBlue Pediatric Hematology Oncology Clinic is seeking a Nurse Team Leader with primary patient care responsibilities. This position will work closely with the division chief and providers to create, maintain, and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of care. The Nurse Team Leader works closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Clinical Manager Senior to operationalize ambulatory clinic issues, nursing directions, scheduling templates, protocols, and staffing models.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience, detail oriented.

Preferred Education/Experience
BLS, PALS, APHON Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Recognition, CPHON Certification within 2 years of hire preferred but not required.
