Position Summary:
The RN Nurse Navigator for Obstetrics & Gynecology functions independently to coordinate care for low & high-risk pregnancies. Responsible for planning, education, and support of OB/GYN patients and family. Assures that the continuum of care process is complete, including intra-interdepartmental processes such as triage referrals, triage messages, and direct admits. Works with OB/GYN Physicians, NP's, PA's, Ambulatory Manager, Nurse Supervisor, MFM Division Director, Director of Perinatal Operations and Strategy, and Medical Director/team for the development and growth of the program. Provides nursing services as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $125,363.52 Midpoint $145,408.32 Maximum $165,432.24
Required Qualifications:
Current CA RN license
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Basic Life Support Certification from AHA
Minimum 1 year experience working as a RN in an L&D or OB/GYN setting
Demonstrated practice with and knowledge of Maternal Fetal Medicine
Advanced knowledge of OB Care & Fetal Maternal Medicine (High Risk OB)
Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical or inpatient setting providing RN care to OB patients
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese (certain clinics may require this qualification)
