Job Summary/Basic Function
The Northwest PA Rural AIDS Alliance, a grant funded program of Clarion University, seeks qualified applicants for one regular status, full-time Registered Nurse position. The selected applicant will be expected to provide and coordinate care for HIV or HIV/Hepatitis C co-infected patients. Duties may include performing direct patient care, phlebotomy services, administering treatment as prescribed and offering guidance and directions to patients and family members.
This position is headquartered in the Erie office (located at 1001 State Street) and may be required to travel extensively as part of the assigned job duties.
Required Qualifications
Qualified applicants must be a licensed registered nurse with a valid driver’s license. Completion of a successful on-campus interview is required.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, two years’ minimum experience including assessment skills and infectious protocols and experience working with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C patients.
