Position Summary

The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is looking for Non-Student Short-Term Casual. Incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision.


Responsibilities

  • Collect Information from electric medical record
  • Handle human specimens
  • Order and maintain laboratory supplies.
  • Participate in educational conference.
  • Record data related to task or studies.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School student with technical training or equivalency in the sciences. Some related laboratory experience, usually six months.


Other Requirements

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-through of assigned projects
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
  • Ability understand and adhere to compliance policies
  • Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and faculty
