Non-College Workstudy

The research assistant will assist the hiring professor in performing searches on the needed journal articles, media reports, and other publications related to the research subject; s/he will assist the professor in determining the relevancy of the collected articles, help the professor categorize the collected literature, and hand the collected literature over electronically.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in using online search engines, desktop research, and searches via the University library’s database, and can submit unavailable articles for inter-library loan services.
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
• Must be able to work 10 hours per week
• Maintain a GPA average of 2.5 or higher

• Must be a current UHD student
