The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking several Neuroradiologists for faculty positions. The selected candidates will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology and neuroradiology-training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of neuroradiology. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.
The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in neuroradiology (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in neuroradiology. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate(s) must meet all of the qualifications by the time of the faculty appointment start date. Faculty are also expected to obtain a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology after the start of their faculty appointment, when eligible.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 : The minimum base salary range for this position is $135,700-$360,600. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
