As a Neurodiagnostic Tech I, you will care for patients diagnosed with a brain or nerve condition, seeking the most advanced care from top specialists in the field. Summary of Essential Duties:??

  • Perform routine assigned neurodiagnostic studies in the inpatient and outpatient settings as requested??
  • Studies include EEG, LTM, Routine and Ambulatory??
  • ??Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality improvement??
  • The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and/or the scientific community??
  • Prepare rooms before and after studies and/or procedures??
  • Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards??

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma in an Accredited Neurodiagnostics Program required??
  • Bachelor's Degree in a biological science preferred

License/Certifications:

  • R.EEGT by ABRET preferred
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • CLTM from ABRET preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics required
  • Applicants with more than 3 years of experience may be considered as a Tech II
