Job Advertisement: IT Administrator III  MR13

Designs and deploys telecommunications systems and services.  Operates independently for all sizes of systems.  Leads and directs teams for large-scale projects, new implementations, upgrades, etc.  Provides support to technical staff.  Serves as expert and leader of service area teams.  Contact Center support for large volume calling centers. Work is completed with little oversight, overall accuracy and quality is required, and must have the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and coordinate multiple OIT Telecommunications systems

Collaborate in planning, research, & installation of future systems

Design new installations in Contact Center, Ring Central & Microsoft Teams

Analyze current design and provide solutions to problems

Identify network ports and verification of labeling in existing and new construction

Conduct design meetings with Architects, designers and departments on campus

Provide leadership and guidance to support staff

 



Qualifications

 

Education and Skills

Advanced Telecom certifications with an emphasis on design and 7 years experience or a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications or other IT related fields. and 3 years experience.
