Nephrology Postdoctoral Fellow, School of Medicine, Department of Nephrology (23599933201113)

Boston University (BU) Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Boston Medical Center (BMC), Department of Medicine Nephrology Section is currently seeking Postdoctoral Fellow to work within Dr. Jie Zhang’s research team. Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a Principal Investigator of Nephrology at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Zhang joined the faculty of BU/BMC and established her independent research laboratory in 2023. Dr. Zhang’s laboratory uses an interdisciplinary approach that integrates computational biology, cell and molecular biology, as well as physiology and biophysics to address fundamental questions and explore potential translational targets for a variety of kidney disorders, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and graft dysfunction following kidney transplantation.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a track record of conducting rigorous research during their Ph.D. training in a relevant field of kidney research.
