The Student Life Undergraduate Intern(s) will support the Office of Student Life at The Ohio State University by working 20 hours per week on various Student Life strategic priorities, student and staff initiatives, and other programmatic efforts.
Working with the Student Wellness Center the intern will develop awareness and understanding of basic and essential needs surrounding the college-going experience through direct service interactions in campus food pantry; gain program-development experience through assistance with content creation for the Buckeye Resource Center; increase familiarity and experience with data-informed program development through benchmarking research of essential needs programs both within and outside of higher education; build outreach and communication skills through responding to information inquiries by phone and email as well as interactions with local foodbanks and food providers to ensure supply resources, as well as serving college-student clients

Qualifications:

Required:  High school diploma or GED; experience with Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a team environment; ability to accept direction, work independently and be detail-oriented; excellent written and oral communication skills for a variety of audiences.

Desired: Desire to work in Student Life setting.
