Job Summary
Assists in coordination of personnel for the delivery and support of audio and video equipment. Provides technical support for audio, video, and classroom equipment, including integrated and interactive video classrooms. Provides first level support for security camera systems throughout campus. Coordinates with campus constituents with the planning of new audio/video hardware installations. Serves as technical resource responsible for all phases of the multimedia classrooms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer relations skills for face-to-face coordination.
- Ability to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in modern classroom technology diagnostics & analysis.
- Strong work ethic and be a self-starter able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
- Telephone customer relations skills and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Crestron Digital Media Designer Certification. Active Audio/Video certifications. Familiarity with Cisco Telepresence services.
