The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for the coordination, creation, execution and production of high-quality photography/videography for the medical school's academic, research and student life programs and events that will be used for its websites, social channels and publications.


This position requires a motivated, energetic, flexible, creative individual who will seek to envision and create high-quality photography and videos. A BA/BS in photojournalism, multimedia journalism or other disciplines that emphasize visual storytelling and multimedia production is desires. 5-8 years of experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in web video production, with a comprehensive understanding of the technical and creative aspects of the pre-production, production and post-production processes. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, WordPress. Experience with sound and lighting equipment. HTML experience a plus. The position requires cool nerves, flexibility, anticipation and quick thinking in addition to artistic ability.
