The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Multicultural Student Affairs Student Assistant - Institutional Student Worker to assist with general office management and task. This position will be on the Dahlonega campus. The student will assist with general office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors and supporting the department's activities.

  • Composes or creates a variety of documents such as memoranda, newsletters, and advertisements, utilizing various software and social media.
  • Ensures effective coverage for and provides customer service in the office of Multicultural Student Affairs. 
  • Support MSA student organizations and their programs.
  • Support and/or oversee MSA programs and activities.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of office practices.  
  • Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation. 
  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Access, or other office software.  
  • Must have the ability to gather and process information, work unsupervised, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
