Job Summary

Job Description
  • Assists in monitoring vendor defect compliance for all contract terms relevant to the identification, tracking, severity, prioritization, testing, and resolution of defects.
  • Assists in monitoring and providing analysis on defect Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for priority and severity and participates in all meetings to resolve any differences of classification.
  • Supports the production of analytical dashboards and reports on measures and metrics set by management.
  • Aids in developing streamlined processes to track, escalate and accurately report to LDH executive management the status of all system defects progressing through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Identifies and reports systematic data errors.
  • Performs other tasks as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Great attention to detail and follow up.

DESIRED:  

  • Advanced Degree
  • Minimum one year of professional experience tracking defects through the SDLC in JIRA or equivalent industry standard application.
  • Minimum one year of professional experience in software defect management.
  • Minimum one year of professional experience monitoring contracts for deliverable compliance.
  • Minimum one year of professional experience working in LaMEDS and/or Medicaid Policy knowledge.
