Job Summary | Are you an IT professional with a passion for finding creative solutions that support cutting-edge research with real-world impact? If that’s you, we invite you to join our collaborative IT team as a Systems Engineer in the Microsoft Server Support Group, where you can personally contribute to life-changing research by defining, implementing, and managing the technical solutions required to meet the needs of Auburn University. This position will be responsible for managing resources in a VMware environment, including but not limited to servers, storage, networking as well as vulnerability management and third party application support. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications | This position is advertised at two levels: Associate Systems Engineer (MA45): High school diploma and 8 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of experience. The salary grade for this level is $45,300 to $72,500 Typical starting salary for this level is between $54,367 and $63,433 Systems Engineer (MA46): High school diploma and 11 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience. The salary grade for this level is $55,300 to $94,000 Typical starting salary for this level is between $68,200 and $81,100 Area of required Experience: Relevant IT experience in the administration of distributed computer systems Salary is commensurate with relevant education and experience. |
