Position Summary:
Serves as assistant to Clinical Trial Study Coordinators in performance of industry sponsored clinical trials, as well as project coordinator for internal investigator initiated clinical research and on multiple clinical research studies for various sponsors including industry sponsors, government agencies, cooperative groups, and/or other academic institutions. Must follow the study protocol as designed and written by the study sponsor adhering to Good Clinical Practice as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, as well as other appropriate regulatory agencies. May perform study related procedures for which trained and under the direction of the Principal or Sub-Investigator physician. These procedures will be performed under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Also, performs pre-screening for clinical trial participants, processes lab specimens, assists with data extraction from medical records and performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualification:
Two year college degree in clinical or life science discipline or equivalent experience
3-5 Yrs. Healthcare/Medical or clinical research experience
