Job Summary/Basic Function

The College of Health and Human Services invites applicants for a pool of qualified candidates to fill anticipated full-time and part-time temporary faculty positions to teach various on-campus, clinical, and online courses in medical imaging sciences, diagnostic medical sonography, and interdisciplinary courses in allied health for the academic years and summer terms of 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.
Faculty responsibilities include some or all of the following: classroom and laboratory instruction, clinical oversight, academic advisement of allied health students, and supporting the goals of the respiratory care program its and the Department of Human Services, Rehabilitation, Health and Sport Sciences. Potential for future on-line instruction of students exists.

Required Qualifications

Radiologic technologist registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or professional credential in other medical imaging clinical modality. For diagnostic medical sonography (DMS), must be credentialed in ARDMS or have AART in DMS.
Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or other medical imaging modality.
Minimum of five years experience in radiologic technology or other medical imaging modality.
Minimum of a masters degree.
Prior formal classroom teaching experience

Additional Information

The College of Arts and Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various undergraduate courses for the (first AY), (second AY), and (third AY) academic years. Applicants in previous pools will have to reapply to be considered. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.
