Compensation :
Pay Range: $43,235 - $70,255 / Year

UAB Medicine supports work/life balance. The shift available for this unit is:
- Full-Time Days (Remote/Hybrid), but must be available for 3-4 weeks of in-person training.

Job Description:

Under limited supervision, the Medical Staff Coordinator serves as an essential link and resource between Practitioners, Senior Leaders, Departments and hiring Stakeholders to coordinate the operational processes and ongoing credentialing, privileging and medical staff governance functions of the Medical and Dental Staff Office. Responsible for review, analysis and follow-up of credentialing and privileging applications, maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accrediting and regulatory agencies.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in a related field required and two (2) years of experience in credentialing/medical staff/or related field, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
