The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a MCCB Student Assistant, Dean's Office - Institutional Student Worker on the Dahlonega campus. Student Assistant position with the Mike Cottrell College of Business- Dahlonega campus. The Dean's Office is seeking a Student Assistant that can perform a wide variety of administrative functions to support the Dean's Office.

  • Greet customers of the department, or other personnel of the college.  
  • Assess customer needs and direct visitors to the appropriate points of contact. 
  • Assist in resolving inquiries and ensuring excellent customer service. 
  • Operate a computer and use a variety of office software applications to complete projects.     
  • Manage office supply inventory. 
  • Receive mail/deliveries for the department. 
  • Provide assistance to MCCB Dean's Office staff (includes special projects or data entry).

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • Must be reliable, professional, and proactive. 
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a variety of computer and software packages, including MS Office Suite. 
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a Student Assistant.
