Georgia State University’s PantherCard Office is looking for a Manager of Panthercard Operations to join our team. WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of PantherCard Operations, the Manager of Panthercard Operations is responsible for supervising daily operations of six PantherCard Offices and personnel as well as providing direct customer service support and assistance. Reconcile and prepare the distribution of monthly contractors panthercash sales & revenues. Responsible for the collection and reconciliation of all VTS/PHIL deposits on the main & GSU perimeter campuses. Assist the Asst. Director with establishing & maintaining department budget. Responsible for processing all purchase requests, payment vouchers & refunds for the PantherCard Office. Assist with developing operational procedures and administrative management to the PantherCard Office.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Supervise card production and E-photo approvals for students, staff, faculty and all other cardholders by operating computerized video imaging equipment and imaging database. Operates ID system to update cardholder database, enter new records, resetting balances, assigning & revoking privileges. Handles complex inquiries related to panthercash, pantherprint or meal plan accounts.
  • Responsible for reconciling PantherMeals door access. This includes running BANNER reports and Transact reporting system to ensure accuracy of meal privileges on PantherMeal Plan holder accounts.
  • Responsible for assisting and monitoring department budget. Uses the Spectrum System to process all purchase requests, journals, payment vouchers, purchase orders & refunds for the Panthercard Office.
  • Hire, train, and supervise student assistants and Customer Service Specialists III in daily operations of all six PantherCard Offices. Responsible for providing customer service support by resolving complex customer service and technical issues as required.
  • Maintains an inventory record of all card system equipment and supplies. Responsible for ordering and restocking GSU card stocks, print ribbons and office supplies. Coordinate with Parking Director and staff to ensure proper distribution of parking hangtags at Perimeter Campuses.
  • Assist with marketing and other initiatives to promote all areas of the PantherCard program and develop and implement training programs as required.
  • Responsible for the collection and reconciliation of all VTS/PHIL deposits on the main and satellite campus; replenish and service VTS/PHIL machines.

**This position is eligible for hybrid schedule after completion of probationary period.

Qualifications

: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business and three years of supervisory/managerial experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
