Summary of Duties:
This position sorts, classifies and rates international and domestic mail for proper postage, and distributes mail for the WSU Vancouver campus.
Job Functions:
60% - Mail Delivery/Collection and Material Transport
20% - Mail Processing Administration
10% - Customer Service
5% - Packaging
5% - Other
Required Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent AND possession of a valid unrestricted motor vehicle operator’s license AND one year of experience sorting and distributing mail.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with shipping and/or receiving at a medium/large sized institution.
Forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain within first six (6) months.
Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification for packaging and/or marking of hazardous materials for domestic and international shipping certification or the ability to obtain both within the first twelve (12) months.

Monthly Salary:
$2,738/month - $2,864/month ($32,856-$34,368/year, Step A-Step C). Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
