Job Location:

3000 Rogers Rd in Wake Forest NC. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an LPN to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients at Duke Womens Health Heritage.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient care responsibilities – rooming patients, collecting histories, and charting, ensuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visit.
  • Fulfills EOC Responsibilities – cleaning exam rooms, stocking supplies, maintain a safe work environment  
  • Acts as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teams.
  • Assist providers as needed within scope of practice (ex. Assists with routine exams, procedures, chaperone exams)
  • Perform basic laboratory tests on premises (ex. Blood draws, POCT, Urine)
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider
  • Sterilize and high level disinfect medical equipment
  • Adhere to professional standard, policies, procedures of JACHO.
  • Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by a provider or RN.

Job Eligibility Requirements:

  • HS or GED graduation required
  • High school or GED graduation required.
  • Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA required.
  • Graduate from LPN

Job Hours:

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
