The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences has an opening for a temporary, non-tenure track, part-time Lecturer to teach mathematics and/or statistics courses.
The appointment is for one semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters. The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences is housed on the Auraria campus in the heart of Denver's commercial, cultural, and recreational district. Its location in downtown Denver attracts a diverse population. The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences teaches a wide range of courses for undergraduate and graduate students, both in person on the Auraria campus and online. Our course instructors are instrumental in enabling our students to succeed, being part of a community of teaching professionals and employing a wide range of pedagogical techniques.

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $1,452 per credit hour (lower division), $1,597 per credit hour (upper division), or $1,755 per credit hour (graduate level).
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's degree in the Mathematical and Statistical Sciences from an accredited university; OR a Master's degree in any area and 18 credit hours of graduate-level course work in the Mathematical and Statistical Sciences.
Desired Qualifications:
A record of successful teaching at the college level.
