Description: The Department of Anthropology at Princeton University may have occasional openings for lecturers to teach precepts for undergraduate courses and advise undergraduate independent works during the 2024-2025 academic year. These courses may include introduction to sociocultural anthropology, ethnography, anthropological theory, as well as more specialized areas. Serving in this capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), grading student exams and essays, holding regular office hours, and/or eventually supervising junior papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollment and the needs of the department, and positions may begin in the fall 2024 or spring 2025. Essential Qualifications: Advanced degree in anthropology or related field required. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
