Description: The Department of Philosophy at Princeton University may have occasional openings for Lecturers to teach precepts for undergraduate courses during the 2023-2024 academic year. These courses may focus on areas such as ethics, logic and introductory philosophy. Serving in a preceptor capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular on-campus office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollment, and positions are expected to begin September 1, 2023 or January 16, 2024, depending on the needs of the department.
