| Position Summary | The School of Music at UNC Greensboro welcomes applications for a 2-year, renewable Lecturer position in music theory and aural skills beginning in Fall 2024. We invite applicants who are teacher-scholars actively engaged in advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and access in their teaching. The position centers on teaching music theory and aural skills courses in the undergraduate curriculum. Candidates with expertise in world music, jazz, blues, rap, hip-hop, musical theatre, pop, rock, gospel, and related musical styles are of particular interest. Theorists with additional experience in areas such as entrepreneurship, technology, or composition are also encouraged to apply. Graduate courses may be assigned based on the applicant’s areas of expertise. The position start date is August 1, 2024. |
