| Job Details | Lecturer of Health Sciences The Conway Medical Center College of Health and Human Performance at Coastal Carolina, Department of Nursing and Health Sciences, announces one (1) nine-month, full-time Lecturer position beginning August 2024. The Department of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks a highly qualified candidate who will play an integral role in the emerging new degree program in Health Sciences. Candidates must possess an earned Master’s degree in an academic discipline related to the health sciences or healthcare fields; evidence of health-related professional experience, teaching experience; and community/public engagement. Primary teaching responsibilities will include courses related to the health professions and professional development in healthcare fields, including but not limited to Introduction to Health Professions, Professional Development in Healthcare, and Practicum/Internship in Health Professions. Pharmacological Concepts for Healthcare Professionals, Pathophysiology for Health Care Professionals, Course responsibilities depend on the candidate’s area(s) of expertise and clinical/field experience in healthcare. The position may include undergraduate student advisement, mentoring undergraduate students, development and supervision of field/clinical experiences, and establishing a record of professional service/outreach. The successful candidate will be expected to help advance the curriculum, develop new academic and clinical experiences, contribute to program assessment, and collaborate with related programs at both the university and in the community.
