Brief Job Description
The department is accepting applications to fill current and future part-time, temporary teaching positions in adult education and social and psychological foundations of education. Course requirements vary with need and may include the following areas of specialization: educational psychology, social foundations of education, urban education.
This is a pool posting and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in field appropriate to course requirements (e.g. adult education, human resource management and social foundations of education, educational psychology, urban education) and appropriate level of experience.
Note, adult education does not lead to a recommendation for teacher certification and faculty are not required to be certified teachers.
Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree. Experience teaching graduate online courses in area of expertise.
