Summary of Position
Responsible for the daily operation management, supervision, and oversight of Health & Wellness clinical services (primary care, travel medicine, vaccination clinics, and psychiatric care, and clinical aspects of in-house lab and radiology). Includes supervision of clinicians and clinic manager.
This position will provide quality, cost effective, and appropriate primary medical care to the university community, primarily the student population, with an emphasis on education and prevention. This involves seeing patients in a team setting, taking thorough, pertinent medical histories, doing appropriate physical examinations, ordering appropriate tests, making accurate diagnoses/assessments, and carrying out appropriate plans/treatments based on the evaluations. Thorough and timely documentation of all visits in the electronic health record is expected.

Other minimum qualifications
  • Master’s Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience; 1-3 years of experience of managing a health care program including some aspects of clinical supervision and managing licensed staff.
  • Graduate of an approved training program, suitably educated and trained for clinical practice.
  • Valid, unrestricted license for clinical practice in the State of New Hampshire.
  • Current license, or ability to obtain license to practice medicine in New Hampshire and unrestricted DEA certificate.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of principles and practice of supervision and management and knowledge of the application of evidence-based practice to a clinical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, and experience using electronic health records.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience/expertise in mental health, eating concerns, office procedures, musculoskeletal complaints/injuries, and occupational health.
