The Korzekwa and Nagar laboratories seeks a highly motivated, organized Lab Supervisor for a full-time position. Our labs focus on in vitro ADME and pre-clinical (rodent) pharmacokinetic studies. Bioanalytical assays include HPLC and mass spectrometric analyses. Mathematical modeling and simulation are an integral part of our research. The two labs work in a highly collaborative environment, with a focus on training graduate students and postdoctoral associates. Attention to detail, good record-keeping, organization, time management, and communication skills are essential. Experience with rodent handling in a lab setting will be necessary, and candidates without such experience must be willing to obtain rodent handling training. Depending on the career aspirations of the candidate, we will provide opportunities to contribute to original research, with co-authorship on manuscripts.

The position is available immediately. The appointment is for a one-year term and is renewable for a multi-year term based upon the candidate's performance and/or career plans. To apply, please submit a resume/CV and contact information for three professional references. 

Essential functions: Help lab members with their rat and mouse studies; Be in charge of lab maintenance, including ordering, shipping, and receiving lab reagents/supplies; organizing lab supplies and maintaining inventory of commonly used supplies; and ensuring lab safety and compliance with EHRS regulations; Assist with lab experiments, including tissue dissections, mass spectrometry bioanalysis and MALDI-mass spectrometric imaging, and cell culture; In coordination with PI, assist with new trainee onboarding, basic mouse/rat handling and lab techniques; Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
 An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one years’ experience or equivalent experience in Pharmaceutical Science or related scientific field.
*Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
*Ability to work independently.
*Flexibility to adapt to ongoing and new project needs.
*Good time management and organizational skills.
*Ability to work with diverse trainees and appropriate professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
