Posting Summary
To participate as a technical member of a large, clinical research laboratory to perform assays following established protocol, reduce data, update Quality Control (QC) systems, receive shipments of frozen samples, and maintain frozen blood sample repositories with supervision from the Principal Investigators and Senior Staff.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Medical Technology or related area and one to two years experience in a research laboratory or clinical testing environment required. Familiar with MS Office programs- Word and Excel required.  Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail. 
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with Good Lab Practice regulations and BioSafety Level II regulations is preferred.
Other Information
A six-month probationary period is required.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Contingent on continued funding

Payband Max (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)) 38.29
Payband Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)) 20.15
