Posting Summary | Laboratory technician in a National Science Foundation funded community-focused laboratory for the preparation of cosmogenic nuclide samples. Primary functions will include conducting mineral separations to isolate certain mineral phases from samples, assisting with chemical extractions in an isotopic clean laboratory, and serving as an ambassador for visiting students and faculty members from around the world. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Chemistry, or other relevant discipline. One year of hands-on laboratory experience in school or work setting. Demonstrated ability to learn about and use chemical and isotopic techniques and applications. Experience working independently in a high-trust community. Demonstrated experience interfacing professionally with a wide range of student and faculty visitors from around the world. |
