Position Summary:
 
The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior (NBB) is made up of a community of faculty, students, postdoctoral fellows and staff who share a common goal: creating an exciting intellectual environment that optimizes our research and teaching missions. Assist in studies on the roles of caspases in nervous system development. Experiments will include chick embryo electroporation, whole embryo culture, plasmid construction, studies of the roles of purified exosomes, and analysis of data in tissue sections.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $22.00 - $23.75 (Hourly Rate). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $22.00 - $25.88 (Hourly Rate).

Required:
 
  • General laboratory maintenance.
     

Preferred:
 
Experience with chick embryos, plasmid preparation and electroporation, purification of extracellular vesicles/exosomes. Tissue sectioning, immunofluorescence and histochemical assays, axonal tracing, data analysis.
