Job Summary

Job Description
Assist in establishing policies, standards, processes, and templates for working with vendors and providing vendor governance. 
Assists in the development and management of relationships with vendors and the technology/program teams they support. Act as a mediator for internal conflicts regarding issues related to IT vendor management. Interface, interact, and communicate with executives, program teams, fiscal/FMO, budget, procurement, and technical teams.
Assists in manage relationships with vendors for contract compliance, build a main vendor repository to ensure effective contract management and vendor relationships, and plan for major software upgrades, ensuring that change management procedures/methodologies are used.
Provides assistance with the development of the communications process with vendors. This can be accomplished through a combination of vendor reports and internal information gathering. (Who can communicate on what issues and topics, and under what forms and forums?) Note: Vendors will seek to connect through as many contacts within Medicaid as possible, but this can quickly get out of control and result in conflicting agreements.
Develops an understanding of IT vendor spending by category, cost center, and vendor along with damages and retainage language.  Assist with implementing and managing procedures for assessing damages.
Help ensure there are clear metrics across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strong performance management of each vendor. Collect, consolidate, and communicate detailed reports and key vendor data to stakeholders on vendor performance, risk, and relationships. Foster analytics-driven decisions based on this data.
Collect reporting requirements, and develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present relevant data tailored to the audience. Focus vendor performance metrics on technical, process, and business outcomes and contract compliance. 
Assist IT vendor management supervisor and IT procurement with vendor evaluation and selection criteria, procedures, and best-practice tools and templates. 
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree or six years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum two years of professional experience in federal/state programs, healthcare, or fast paced office environment.
Minimum of one year of experience managing multiple projects, assignments, and competing priorities. 
Ability to connect with others and network to create strong business relationships.
Experience presenting information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Office skills.

Desired Qualifications:


Advanced degree.
Minimum of two years of experience managing multiple projects, assignments, and competing priorities. 
Minimum of two years of experience with Medicaid.
Minimum of one year of professional experience with federal funding guidelines or vendor management.
Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
