HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

Georgia State University’s Instructional Innovation and Technology (IIT) is seeking an IT Support Specialist, Lead - Technology Logistics Coordinator to join our vibrant and growing team. Under the general supervision, the IT Support Specialist, Lead -Technology Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in essential resource coordination, surplus processing and asset destruction for Learning Environments Support, Technology Labs and Resources and Learning Environments Design projects and services at all campuses. Additionally, this role is key to the development and maintenance of the new the classroom database workflow and inventory integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assisting in developing and implementing internal procedures in line with IIT and university asset management policies for internal classroom and labs technology assets.

·        Reconcile physical device inventory and computer database records with computer management tools (ie Intune & JAMF)

·        Collaborate with internal and external department leaders on learning space projects such as technology refreshes, renovations, and technology transport.

·        Processing helpdesk tickets for resource coordination, surplus and asset destruction.

·        Time reporting, documentation, and other duties as assigned.

Flexible Work Schedules

This position is mostly an in person/on campus job but is eligible for a flexible schedule and hybrid remote working that meet the needs of the employee.

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.

• Familiarity with computer management tools (ie Intune, SCCM & JAMF)
•  Ability to travel locally to remote campus locations. Some after business hours and weekend hours may be required.
• Experience with computer management tools (ie Intune, SCCM & JAMF)
• • Knowledge of project management concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Effective time management, customer service, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and use independent judgement. 
  • Ability to climb ladders, crawl under desks, access drop ceilings, and lift 50 pounds.
