Job Description

Responsible for management of support center processes. The ITIL Processes Engineering Team within OSUMC IT Technology Services and Support is committed to assisting The Ohio State University Medical Center (OSUMC) and its patients.
Contributes strategic vision and serves as the top-level technical contributor in the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of support center processes using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. These processes include and are not limited to Incident Management, Asset Management, Service Level Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management and Knowledge Management.

This position will also be responsible for leading projects that range from medium to large in scope, risk and impact. Leads and facilitates strategic projects involved in evaluating and researching new and existing products, procedures and/or workflows needs associated with IT process management for the Medical Center. Provides direction and insight to leaders, peers and team members regarding the identification and alignment of strategic IT process management requirements with evolving information technology/business opportunities. Recognized across the organization for IT process management expertise and sought as a source for resolution of unique or the most complex systems problems. Acts as a subject matter expert on IT process management strategies, procedures, policies, and methodologies. Perform the roles of Problem Manager, Change Manager, and Process Architect.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
