Intramural Sports Supervisor - Institutional Student Worker

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Intramural Sports Supervisors - Institutional Student Worker on the Dahlonega campus for the 2024-2025 academic year.  Intramural Supervisors are the on-field/court personnel that are responsible for Intramural games being conducted on a daily basis.

  • Ensure that all participants show valid I.D to participate in the Intramural Activity.
  • Monitor all field/court conditions to ensure risk is mitigated.
  • Help plan, create, and teach officials training for all officiated sports.
  • Assist in evaluating and coaching student officials.
  • Prepare for daily intramural.
  • Help plan special events (champ night, Rec Day, etc.).
  • Keep your availability up-to-date on When2Work or another scheduling software.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to work in the evening and into the night.
  • Customer service orientated service.
  • Effective communication through all written and spoken communication.
  • Teaching and Coaching Skills.
  • Knowledge in sports and how they operate is preferred.
  • Be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • Experience in officiating within the Intramural Sports Program for at least Intramrual Phase OR participate in Intramural Sports for at least 3 Intramural Phases.
