Responsibilities: |
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) in the Center for Global Engagement(CGE) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) seeks an International Student and Scholar Advisor to join its team. The CGE coordinates education abroad, immigration services, international partnerships, international student recruitment and related functions that empower UMBC to extend beyond borders. This position will directly support international students and scholars at UMBC by providing advice and counsel to international students and scholars before, during and after their time at UMBC. This position will serve as an advocate and ally for the needs and interests of the international student and scholar community by fostering strong and collaborative relationships with key campus and community stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services. Specific Responsibilities include:
