Position Summary:

The Marketing and Creative Services position will specialize in digital content creation to generate revenue and support for UC Irvine Athletics 18 Division I sports. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphic design skill set, experience with motion graphics, video and photography and a passion for athletics. This position will lead the departments graphic design efforts supporting social media, email, web, and print needs of the Athletics Department. Projects will include support of game day coverage, marketing and promotion needs, game day production elements, special events, and sales/fundraising collateral. The position will oversee many aspects of our visual identity organizing student-athlete photo shoots, video shoots, creating design templates, and more. They will work closely with our Director of Fan Experience & Licensing and other content contributors to ensure brand consistency across the board. Recruit, manage and train student intern support staff.

$26.92 - $27.00 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $26.92 - $46.36 (Hourly Rate)
 
Required:
  • Preferred 2 years experience in a University or Athletic setting
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies and best practices. 
  • Knowledge of customer service standards / procedures. Organizational skills and skills in file creation, maintenance and management. Written and interpersonal communication skills.
     

Preferred:
 
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services. Knowledge of the campus and / or medical center including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.

 


Special Conditions Required:
 
Must work nights, weekends and holidays when required Must be able to travel with teams if needed
