Job Summary/Description
The Angelo State University Agriculture Department is seeking candidates for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty to provide students a relevant and engaging academic experience.
Typical Duties/Job Duties
  • Teach 18 hours of course instruction per academic year (2 or 3 courses per long semester).
  • Perform duties as a Research & Outreach Associate in collaboration with other departmental faculty and staff.
  • Serve as primary recruiting coordinator in the Agriculture Department.
  • Serve as an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the Agriculture Department.
  • Serve as the faculty advisor of the Block & Bridle Student Organization.
  • Serve as the faculty advisor of the Recruiting Ag Majors (RAMS) program & student organization.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Skills required to fulfill duty as a dynamic and engaging instructor as well as a proficient recruiting coordinator.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Completed Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Ag Business, Food Science, Natural Resource Management, or other closely related field.
