What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities

  • Provides academic and practicum instruction within the School of Nursing. Plans, coordinates, and conducts classroom and practicum experiences for students. Participates in scholarly and academic activities appropriate to the Instructor rank.
  • Reports to the Director of Undergraduate Nursing Studies, and/or Director of Graduate Nursing Studies, on curriculum and course issues (e.g., students, practicum), and reports to the School of Nursing Chair on all other issues (e.g., personnel, assignments).

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Experience in clinical nursing
  • Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
