The Human Resources Generalist provides human resources consultation with leaders and staff to facilitate the delivery of strategic and operational human resources programs and services that supports and advances the University's mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plans, develops and implements recruitment and talent acquisition strategies including the recruitment, screening, selection, placement, and hiring of qualified and diverse staff for positions across the University.
- Consults with department partners to resolve complex HR issues and respond accordingly to managers and employees.
- Serves as liaison between management, staff and applicants regarding University policies, employment policies and practices.
- Consults with supervisors and staff on a variety of employee relations matters; leads or participates in investigations, and provide objective recommendations for appropriate action and resolution.
- Actively works to support University compliance with local, state, and federal laws and statutes related to employment.

- Lead or facilitate presentations/trainings in large and small group settings
- Represent Human Resources on University-wide committees and task-forces
