Position Summary

The Student Financial Aid Office in the Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a student for a position within the Student Employment Office. This position will start as soon as possible. Job duties include:

Assist Job Development Officer with Off-Campus Work-Study processes.
Update and maintain the Off-Campus Employment page on the Student Employment Office website, including contacting employers regarding their postings and their employment of UNM students.
Create and maintain Off-Campus Employment page records.
Assist with Off-Campus employers and job postings. 
Assist staff with orientations, Welcome Back Days, Student Employment Week and other events. 
Work on special projects including creating and distributing flyers. 
Assist students and Off-Campus Work-Study employers with navigating through the student hiring process. 
Assist with verifying Off-Campus Work-Study student time sheets.   
Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications

Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress and must not be on Academic Plan.
Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week (maximum of 28 hours/week). Office hours are 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday). Must be available to work summers and between terms.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Must know how to correspond professionally via email.
Must make/answer frequent phone calls to/from Off-Campus employers and students.
Must have the ability to create professional work relationships with management, staff and co-workers.
