Friends University is seeking to fill a Help Desk Technician position in Wichita Kansas. This is an on-site position that provides first point of contact for Information Technology and Educational Technology customer questions, problems, and requests. The technician will use incident management software to track, correct, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution. The technician will resolve customer issues or escalate more complex issues to the appropriate area.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum one year of hands-on experience with personal computer software and hardware troubleshooting and support.

An associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Desirable certifications, CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +, Microsoft IT Support.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication and organizational skills are necessary.  Technology proficiency in MS Office products and networks. Ability to multitask.
