Grounds Staff

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Grounds Staff in the Grounds Department.
Duties include, but are not limited to: 
· Perform turf maintenance in assigned area.
· Remove waste and litter from assigned area.
· Plant and prune shrubbery, flowers and trees.
· Assists with providing proper care for landscaped beds.
· Maintain equipment and report maintenance and supply needs.
· Stock and maintain supplies with consistency.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and grounds experience are required.

Building/ Grounds Specialist II (KA10/61122834/FTE-S01005P), full-time position with benefits. Minimum starting salary is $31,200.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the grounds field.
Preferred Qualifications
Licensure and/or Certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of good grounds practices and an understanding of products and equipment available. Must be able to operate power equipment used in grounds maintenance/upkeep. Good verbal and written communication skills.
